Grecian Australian Cypress is 13/32" x 3 9/16". The box size is 36.62 square feet per carton. Australian Cypress is famous as the hardest softwood (evergreen) in the world. It is 10% harder than Red Oak! It is wonderful in residential usage, yet hard enough to use in commercial applications where a rustic look is desired but for which most other softwoods are too soft. Color: Australian Cypress exhibits a wide range of colors, from dark red / brown heart to yellow sapwood. Over time, the severe color differences will mellow, and overall tone will show some ambering. Janka Hardness : 1375

Grecian Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) is 13/32" x 3 9/16". The box size is 36.62 square feet per carton. Brazilian Walnut is an extremely dense, hard wood with very fine grain. It is almost 3 times harder than Red Oak, making it ideal for even the toughest commercial, high traffic applications. Color: Brazilian Walnut exhibits a wide range of colors, depending on where it grows. Colors go from a light yellowish tan to a very dark, almost black brown color. Over time, it will naturally darken to a medium to dark brown color. Janka Hardness : 3680

Santos Mahogany is a wonderful choice for both residential and commercial use, being 78% harder than Red Oak. It is also a very stable wood, with little shrinkage or cupping. Color: Santos Mahogany will range between a orangish / brown with a yellowish tinge to a dark reddish / purplish brown. A large part of the wood will be a dark orange / brown mahogany color. Color change over time is not very big, and tends to become slightly muted throughout the color range. Janka Hardness : 1400

Brazilian Cherry is extremely hard, in fact more than twice as hard as Red Oak. Suitable for high traffic areas. Much more suitable for households with dogs or commercial applications than American Cherry. Color: Very sensitive to light. In direct sunlight it will darken in just a few days. In normal room light, it will darken over the course of 4 to 6 months. This is similar to American Cherry. Many people consider this "patina" to be a major selling point for Brazilian Cherry. This color change is not a basis for a claim. Janka Hardness : 2820
